Dr. Tian He was born in Shanghai, China, and then immigrated to New Jersey with her parents at the young age of 3. An East Coast girl through and through, she attended Columbia University in NYC for college, and then decided to become a dental student in her home state of New Jersey, at Rutgers University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Tian completed her pediatric dental residency in Philly at St Christopher’s Hospital for Children and then in 2016, she took a long leap of faith to move to Oahu for work!
Dr Tian is so excited to join Smiles for Keiki Kahala/Waipahu this summer and continue her professional growth in pediatric dentistry with this wonderful new team. She is committed to providing safe and individualized care to children using the newest technologies and materials in the office. She also has over a decade of experience providing comprehensive dental care to both the well-child and the special needs child under general anesthesia at Kapiolani Medical Center.
In her spare time, Dr. Tian enjoys traveling with her husband to different countries, being a foodie, binge watching various Netflix shows (especially Kdramas and Cdramas), scuba diving, underwater photography, and keeping boba shops in business!
